Organic Yuzu & Sesame Furikake, 25g Ingredients Brands|Japanese Ingredients

Organic yuzu and sesame furikake is a salty, savoury mix for garnishing rice, salads and seafood. Furikake is a popular Japanese condiment, traditionally made with dried fish, sesame seeds and seaweed. This version includes yuzu peel and soy sauce for a rich, nutty taste with notes of fresh citrus. Yuzu tastes like a cross between grapefruit, mandarin and lemon, adding a sour tang and fruity flavour to this seasoning blend.

Sprinkle yuzu-flavoured furikake over grilled prawns, vegetable tempura and steamed fish. It will add crunch and zingy saltiness to cold noodle salads and onigiri (rice balls wrapped in nori). While it’s ideal for Asian dishes, furikake is also a delicious addition to potato salad, popcorn and vegetable dishes.

Furikake is a dry Japanese condiment that is typically used to season rice. It’s usually added at the end of cooking, often sprinkled over steamed rice and meat and seafood dishes. With its umami-rich flavour, this versatile seasoning mix can also be used in marinades, salad dressings, breads and crackers.

Store in a cool, dry place.
