Hot Spun Iron Roasting Tray, 22x24cm Baking Supplies & Equipment

Feed a crowd with the Netherton Foundry spun iron roasting tray. It has two riveted handles so you can carry it straight to the table. Treat guests to succulent roast chicken or a show-stopping rack of lamb.

Made from durable spun iron, the tray is also ideal for baking. It’s pre-seasoned with organic flax oil and develops a non-stick patina over time. You can use it on the hob, in the oven and on the barbecue. It’s designed to fit directly onto the runners of AGA ovens.

Brown your meat on the hob, then transfer it to the oven to roast. Or, use the tray to bake rolls and sandwich loaves. It heats quickly and evenly, ensuring delicious results.

Iron is a pure, simple metal that’s easy to clean and care for. It becomes more non-stick over time, allowing you to cook with very little fat. The surface won’t peel or scratch.

The tray is deeper than the average baking tray so it’s perfect for saucy dishes. While your meat is resting, you can make a rich gravy in the tray on your hob.

About Netherton Foundry

The Netherton Foundry is a family company based in Shropshire – home of the 18th and 19th century ironmasters. Their pans are made from 99.1% pure iron and they use locally sourced materials wherever possible – the oak that makes the pan handles is British, and the flax seasoning oil comes from Sussex. Experienced local craftsmen use traditional manufacturing methods to bring you high quality cookware that gets better over time.
