Best Oliva Luxe Flexible Filleting Knife, 16cm Kitchen Knives

Messermeister’s Oliva Luxe flexible filleting knife allows you to remove fish from the bone with high level precision, control and minimal waste. Made in Solingen, Germany which is world-renowned for quality stainless steel, this flexible blade bends to the curves and nooks of the fish bones to cleanly and professionally remove fillets from whole fish.

This filleting knife is made of a high carbon 1.4116 stainless steel for excellent lasting power and resistant to corrosion, and the blade ranks 57-58 on the Rockwell hardness sale. This makes a tough knife for intricate slicing; it maintains strength, hardness and durability.

Why Messermeister Olivia?

• The Oliva Luxe knives are formed from single pieces of fully-forged and hot-hammered steel to create a strong and powerful knife all the way from heel to point.
• The knife is half bolstered, meaning a sharper edge can easily be maintained for the full length of the blade when sharpening. It also makes for a more comfortable and smoother cut.
• The Oliva range is named after the beautiful polished Italian olive wood handles the knives are made from, which have a sleek, smooth finish for extra comfort

This knife is not dishwasher safe. Hand wash in warm water and avoid cleaners containing citrus and beach to protect the delicate wood. We advise you regularly oil the wood handle with food safe mineral or grapeseed oil to prevent splitting and protect the wooden finish.
