Best Dona Jimena Turron Duro Round Cake, 150g Ingredients Brands|Spanish Ingredients

Torta de Turron is a round flat ‘cake’ made with a mixture of Marcona almonds and honey. An egg white wafer holds the mixture together to form a round cake shape. Popular in Andalucia, this crunchy sweet treat is a perfect gift for almond lovers. The honey adds subtle sweetness and the almonds are left whole for an irresistibly crunchy texture.

The torta is presented in a stylish white box decorated with a traditional Andalucian-style tile pattern. Serve it after dinner with coffee and dessert wine or give it as a gift to a dinner party host. In Spain, it’s traditionally enjoyed at Christmas but it’s delicious all year round!
