Sale Smoked Sea Salt Made In The Uk|Herbs & Spices

The ancient town of Maldon, on the shores of the Blackwater Estuary, has been at the heart of salt production since Roman times. It is this location along with their unique hand-drawn methods that give Maldon sea salt its distinctive taste and texture.

Smoked Maldon sea salt is naturally smoked over English oak using methods perfected over generations. Traditional cold smoking adds a sophisticatedly subtle smokiness to the salt, guaranteeing an extra frisson of flavour. Sprinkle a little over roast potatoes before serving or try it on fish, meat and poultry.
