Outlet The x Knepp 12 Turtle Dove Chocolate Eggs, 150g Ingredients Brands|Chocolate & Sweets

Chocolate Detective’s box of turtle dove chocolate eggs are a delight. Open the box to reveal 12 eggs with speckled white and brown shells. They’re wonderfully realistic but the shells hide a sweet surprise. Inside, you’ll find layers of milk and dark chocolate.

Six eggs are filled with smooth salted caramel. The rest are filled with a rich hazelnut praline.

The eggs are made in France using bean-to-bar couverture. The ethically produced cocoa comes from a large farm in Ecuador.

The recyclable boxes feature colourful bird illustrations. The artwork is by British artist and illustrator Madeleine Floyd.

Madeleine writes, “The dainty Turtle Dove is Britain’s only migratory dove. Their gentle cooing purr reminds us of summer days and courtship. They form strong and lasting partnerships and have become cultural emblems of devoted love.”

Chocolate bird eggs make fabulous gifts. Treat yourself or buy them for friends and family. They’re a fun and unique present for bird enthusiasts.

They’re part of a collection of chocolate bird eggs curated by The Chocolate Detective.
