Outlet Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 500ml Ingredients Brands|Spanish Ingredients

Núñez de Prado organic olive oil is an organic blend of extra virgin olive oil made from Spain’s Hojiblanca, Picual and Picudo olives. Núñez de Prado olive oil has spicy fruit aromas with enjoyable citrus notes and a peppery finish. A versatile oil – perfect for drizzling on bread and using as the finishing flavour for fish, Spanish salads and tapas.

There is minimal processing involved in the production of Núñez de Prado extra virgin olive oilin order to retain the full flavours – and theoilremains unfiltered to ensure a fully natural, organic product.

First, the freshly picked olives are ground to a paste between granite cones. This paste is laid between grass mats which are piled high then gently squeezed. The free-running oil that drips from the paste is collected and immediately bottled. This is known asFlor de Aceite, or ‘Flower of the Oil’.Flor de Aceite is the highest grade of olive oil – higher even than first cold press.

The olives are grown onthe Núñez de Prado family’s 200-year-old estate in Baena, Andalucia, which has been DOP certified for nearly 20 years. Once handpicked, the olivesare pressed within hours at a mill just eight miles east of the olive groves.

0.18% acidity

Please note: If you are purchasing this oil during winter, on arrival it may have solidified due to colder temperatures in the warehouse and couriers’ vans. This doesn’t cause any degradation of the product. Just keep the oil in the kitchen for a few hours and it will become beautifully liquid again.

For a slightly less intense flavour, we’d recommend the Nunez de Prado Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP, 1 litre, which is cold pressed.
