Outlet Deep Black Cocoa Powder, 1kg Ingredients Brands|Chocolate & Sweets

Make indulgent cakes and tarts with Cacao Barry’s deep black cocoa powder. It’s made from sustainably sourced cocoa beans and no added sugar.

Almost black in colour, the powder has an ultra-fine texture. This guarantees smoothness, consistent colour and better flavour release. It has an intense cacao flavour with biscuity, floral notes. You can also detect a subtle hint of sesame.

This cocoa powder is perfect for bakers and chocolatiers. Use it to add bitterness and a dark, dramatic colour to desserts. The fine powder is ideal for truffles, biscuits and brownies.

Try this recipe for chocolate and salted caramel tart.

This cocoa powder has a fat content of 10-12%. This low fat content allows cacao’s natural bitterness to shine through. It has a lower level of sweetness than standard cocoa powder.

Get creative with unexpected flavour pairings. The powder’s dark, bitter profile is complemented by vanilla, rose, cinnamon and ginger. Sweet, fruity flavours can balance its bitterness. Pair it with raspberries or tropical fruits like pineapple and coconut.

This 1kg bag is ideal for commercial kitchens. The packaging is resealable and recyclable.
