Online Umami Paste, 210g Ingredients Brands|French Ingredients

Enhance everyday dishes with Christine Le Tennier umami paste. This versatile ingredient has a rich, savoury flavour that tantalises your taste buds. It turns simple soups and sauces into something extra special.

Umami is one of the five tastes, along with sweet, sour, bitter and salty. It’s hard to describe, often referred to as savoury or complex. We recognise its flavour in ingredients like soy sauce, miso and Parmesan cheese.

Umami paste is made with ingredients like seaweed, soy sauce and shiitake powder. These are designed to boost the natural flavours in your dish. A small amount is enough to transform the taste of stews and broths.

Add a spoonful of umami paste to marinades and stir fries. It adds instant depth to dipping sauces and ramen broth. You can stir into curries or add it to dressings for noodle salads.

With so many ways to use it, umami paste is a great gift for the chef who has everything.
