New Caramelised Fig Spread, 270g Ingredients Brands|Italian Ingredients

Babbi’s caramelised fig spread is delicious on toast and pastries. It’s made with fresh figs that are cooked slowly and gently caramelised. The result is a syrupy spread with rich fruit flavour. Sticky fig pieces add texture to every spoonful.

Enjoy fig spread on crostini with ricotta and a drizzle of honey. You can drizzle it over pancakes, gelato or a creamy cheesecake. It can also be used as a filling for flaky, buttery croissants.

Fig spread is a great addition to a cheese board. Pair it with soft cheeses like ricotta, taleggio and brie. Mix leftover fig spread with oil and balsamic vinegar to glaze chicken or pork.
