Discount Maldon Forged Nakiri Knife, 15cm Kitchen Knives

This nakiri knife is hand-forged from high carbon stainless steel. It has an incredibly sharp blade and holds its edge well over time.

Nakiri knives are traditionally used to prepare vegetables. Slicing, dicing and mincing feel effortless with this powerful blade. You can use the wide, flat blade to scrape your board clean and scoop food into pans and containers.

Strong and well-balanced, this knife is a great all-rounder. It’s particularly useful for preparing tough vegetables like squash and celeriac.

The black scale is left on the blade to prevent rust. This is known as kurouchi or ‘blacksmith’s finish’.

The handle is made from waste plastic from Maldon sea salt containers. The octagonal shape and mint green colour make it a beautiful addition to your table. No two handles are the same, so each knife has its own unique pattern.

Each knife is handmade in Somerset.
