Discount Gourmet Confit Figs in Syrup, 285g Ingredients Brands|Spanish Ingredients

These confit figs in syrup bring a touch of Michelin starred magic to your kitchen! Produced in Spain, the recipe was created by Joan Roca, the chef and founder of the world-famous El Celler de Can Roca in Girona, northern Catalonia. The plump, ripe figs are steeped in a light, sweet syrup that enhances their honeyed fruitiness.

These gourmet figs are a fantastic addition to all kinds of desserts, from a simple bowl of vanilla ice cream to puff pastry tarts and creamy cheesecakes. They will instantly elevate a steamed sponge pudding and they pair beautifully with raspberries in a crumble cake.

If you prefer to end your meal on savoury note, the figs are an ideal match for soft and blue cheeses. Serve them with your cheese board, accompanied by a glass of Pedro Ximenez sherry.
