Clearance Senzo Twist Damascus Steel VG10 Core Bread Knife, 22cm Japanese Ingredients|Kitchen Knives

The Senzo Twist bread knife glides through dense and crusty loaves. It features a double bevelled, full tang blade with a serrated edge.

The sharp blade easily cuts through rolls and sourdough. Use it to slice a fresh baguette or cut a sponge cake in half. It’s ideal for soft breads like brioche, delivering a clean cut without crushing or tearing.

This Japanese bread knife is also useful for tough-skinned fruit and vegetables. You can use it to slice large tomatoes, pineapple and aubergines.

Senzo Twist knives are forged from 69 layers of Damascus steel. The blade has a solid core of VG10 steel. This type of steel is renowned for its hardness and resistance to rust. The blade is cold forged under high pressure for increased strength and durability.

The Damascus/VG10 combination gives you a kitchen knife that is razor-sharp and easy to maintain. Indentations at the top of the blade prevent fatty and starchy foods from sticking to it.

The Pakkawood handle has a softly twisted octagonal design. It’s water resistant with an attractive natural grain pattern.

There is a ring of heat resistant red polymer between the bolster and handle. This allows for temperature changes that may cause the knife and handle to expand and contract at different rates. Not only does it look great, it protects the handle from splitting, too!

Wash by hand and dry thoroughly before storing. Not dishwasher safe.
