Clearance Candied Yuzu Peel, 1kg Ingredients Brands|Japanese Ingredients

Candied yuzu peel adds a burst of citrus flavour to biscuits and desserts. It has a sweet-sharp flavour similar to grapefruit and mandarin. Enjoy it straight from the bag or use it to garnish cakes and éclairs.

The candying process takes the edge off yuzu’s bitterness. The result is sweet, tangy peel with a subtle floral aroma. Chop it finely to flavour batter for scones and sponge cakes. Or, add a few pieces to your cheese board. The sharp, fruity taste pairs well with goat’s cheese.

Candied yuzu peel is perfect for ice cream and cocktail syrups. You can use it to flavour sugar or spirits like vodka and gin. Let the peel macerate in the alcohol for a few days so it can impart its citrus flavour.

This 1kg bag is ideal for professional and domestic kitchens.
