Best Porcelain Patterned Sake Jug and Cup Tableware Brands|Japanese Ingredients

Use the Seikou porcelain sake jug and cup to serve hot or cold sake with a Japanese meal. Made in Japan, the set includes a traditional flask (known as a ‘tokkuri’) and a small cup (known as ‘ochoko’) that doubles as a lid for easy storage. The colourful patterned flask will add instant Japanese elegance to your table.

The cup has a wide rim so you can enjoy the full aroma of the sake as you drink it. Sake can be served at room temperature, chilled or heated up to 40°C – when it’s known as atsukan. It is a wonderful accompaniment to Japanese dishes like sushi and sashimi or crispy prawn tempura.

This sake set is a great gift for sake enthusiasts, especially when paired with a bottle from our range of Japanese sake.

About Seikou Porcelain

Seikou porcelain opened its kiln in Japan’s Ishikawa prefecture around a hundred years ago. The family-owned business produces porcelain tableware in the ko-kutani style. Kutani-yaki, or kutani ware, is known for its thick overglaze, bold colours and hand-painted detail. Kutani ware pieces are often decorated with flowers, animals and geometric motifs. Seikou porcelain uses traditional techniques to create colourful, contemporary crockery that is both beautiful and practical.
