About Filt

Normandy-based Filt have been making string bags since 1860. Originally made by the peasant community, the workers eventually banded together into a formal company. Filt still knit the bags using traditional techniques passed down through generations.

These lightweight, compact, yet durable bags find plenty of uses in modern life – from grocery shopping to trips to the library. They’re an ideal gift for anyone into classic French style.
