Best Les Forges Filleting Knife, 18cm Kitchen Knives

The Opinel Les Forgés filleting knife is designed for precise cutting tasks. Use the thin, pointed blade to fillet and debone fish. Filleting knives are great for segmenting citrus fruits and neatly separating fish from its skin.

Reach for this slender knife when you’re filleting salmon or even tomatoes. The flexible blade makes it easy to get close to the skin to get all the meat in one piece.

The blade is made from a single piece of X50CrMoV15 steel. This type of steel is extremely hard-wearing and resistant to stains and corrosion. It’s beautifully balanced and retains its sharp edge over time.

The knife’s handle is made from durable beechwood. The sleek finish and dark brown hue gives it an elegant and luxurious look.

The Les Forgés 1890 collection was inspired by the work of two-Michelin-starred chef Jean Sulpice. Chef Jean is from the Savoie region of France where Opinel is based. The knives are designed to satisfy the demands of domestic and professional kitchens. They come in a lovely dark blue gift box.

Opinel knives are a fantastic investment for any chef. Each one is a piece of art, ready to transform the way you cook at home.

Hand wash only.
