Online Amazon Chilli Pepper, 20g Ingredients Brands|Brazilian Ingredients

Terre Exotique’s Amazon chilli pepper is fiery hot and fruity – excellent for adding a kick to sauces and stews. Grown in Colombia – and benefiting from the fertile Amazon rainforest – these powerful chillies are yellow in colour, and harvested before being fully ripe. They have a subtle acidity similar to Tabasco chillies.

Ranking between 50,000 and 70,000 on the Scoville Heat Unit, these hot chillies release their flavour during cooking – if you want your dish hot, add the peppers in at the start of cooking. Alternatively, add right at the end for a less pungent heat. We love using these peppers when making chilli con carne and rich beef stews.

About Terre Exotique

Terre Exotique works directly with hundreds of specialist farmers and producers around the world – to bring the very best peppers, spices and salts to our tables. The company was founded by Erwann de Kerros, a Breton and seasoned traveller. After tasting pepper in the Penja plantation in Cameroon, Kerros yearned to try other specialist peppers and spices – and Terre Exotique was born.

The company works closely with farmers to preserve natural habitats, and to ensure a sustainable income for local communities. Each spice is carefully packed in tins or glass jars – with no plastic. The metal tins preserve the flavours and aroma of your spice, by protecting them from sunlight. So the ingredients stay at their best for longer.
