New Organic Smoked Sweet Paprika, 50g Spanish Ingredients|Herbs & Spices

Smoked sweet paprika has a rich, warming flavour. It’s made from smoked red peppers that are dried and finely ground. You will find it in many recipes from Spain, where it’s known as pimentón.

Paprika adds smoky depth to chilli con carne and Hungarian goulash. You can add it to a rich tomato sauce for meatballs or patatas bravas. Paprika is also a popular choice for rubs and marinades. Leave your meat in the fridge for a few hours before cooking to soak up the smoky flavours.

Smoked sweet paprika is a great substitute for bacon in plant-based dishes. It adds a delicious smokiness to barbecue beans and veggie chilli. You can also sprinkle it over potato wedges before roasting. Add a little chilli powder for additional heat, if you like.

Use organic smoked sweet paprika to makepiri piri seasoning. It’s fantastic for marinating chicken or fish before grilling.

Store in an airtight container in a dark, dry place.
