Hot Greek Pine Honey, 250g Ingredients Brands|Greek Ingredients

Kalios Greek pine honey has a distinctive flavour and aroma. It’s sweet and woody with hints of spice and pine nuts. You can use it in sweet and savoury recipes, as well as baked goods.

Pine honey is made from honeydew that bees collect from conifers. It’s deep amber in colour and has a smooth, creamy texture. Stir a spoonful into oatmeal and top with fresh berries. Or, drizzle it over pastries and buttered toast.

In the Mediterranean, pine honey is used to flavour honey cakes and baklava. The flavour works beautifully with citrus and spices like ginger.

For a quick marinade, mix pine honey with olive oil, garlic and herbs. This rub turns duck breasts and pork chops into show-stopping suppers. The powerful pine flavour is a great match for red meat and game.

Store in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.
