Hot Bulgarian Troyan Mint Green Soup Bowl, 16cm Crockery & Dinnerware|Bowls

Serve minestrone and vibrant tom yum in this mint green soup bowl. In the summer months, fill the bowl with tarator – a refreshing cold soup. It’s a Bulgarian classic, made with cucumber, dill, garlic and walnuts.

The bowl has a wave-patterned exterior and a floral design inside. Shades of blue, green and terracotta pop against the mint green background.

This soup bowl is part of a collection of Bulgarian pottery. It’s produced in the city of Troyan, which is famous for its ceramics. The vibrant colours and unique designs are an eye-catching alternative to traditional tableware.

The designs are inspired by Slavic and Thracian patterns from the 19th century. Every artist has their own style, so colours and patterns vary from item to item.
