Discount Kosher Salt, 1.3kg American Ingredients|Herbs & Spices

Diamond Crystal kosher salt is a world-renowned variety, famed for its texture, flavour and the way that the grains stick to food easily.

Diamond Crystal kosher salt is a pure and natural variety with no additives. It is referenced throughout The French Laundry cookbook, with Thomas Keller explaining: “we use a specific brand of kosher salt, Diamond Crystal, because of the size of the grains.”

Keller goes on to say: “Salt is the primary seasoning ingredient we use. It heightens the flavour of everything across the board…without it, the flavour of meats and vegetables and fruit is a little flat, dead, fade, as they say in France – insipid. Salt opens up flavours, makes them sparkle.” So it makes sense to use the best variety available to give dishes the critical lift, which propels dishes to a restaurant-standard. The 1.36kg box of kosher salt comes in an easy-pour packet, making it easy to open, store and pour.
