Discount Crazy Salt, 90g Ingredients Brands|Herbs & Spices

Use Terre Exotique’s crazy salt to add heat and colour to marinades, rubs and roast chicken. It has a surprisingly delicate flavour and vibrant red colour that will delight your dinner guests. Also known as ‘devil’s salt’, crazy salt is a speciality from Guerande and Île de Ré off the west coast of France.

Herbs and spices are added to the coarse sea salt to give it a smoky, spicy taste. Expect the herbal aroma of rosemary and the subtle heat of paprika and cayenne pepper.

You can use crazy salt while you’re cooking or serve it in pinch pots on your dinner table. It’s great on barbecued meat and fish or sprinkled over salads and baked potatoes. Combine a teaspoon of crazy salt with unsalted butter to create a spicy spread for sandwiches. It also makes a great rimming salt for Bloody Marys and margaritas!

About Terre Exotique

Terre Exotique works directly with hundreds of specialist farmers and producers around the world – to bring the very best peppers, spices and salts to our tables. The company was founded by Erwann de Kerros, a Breton and seasoned traveller. After tasting pepper in the Penja plantation in Cameroon, Kerros yearned to try other specialist peppers and spices – and Terre Exotique was born.

The company works closely with farmers to preserve natural habitats, and to ensure a sustainable income for local communities. Each spice is carefully packed in tins or glass jars – with no plastic. The metal tins preserve the flavours and aroma of your spice, by protecting them from sunlight. So the ingredients stay at their best for longer.
